Steve Sheinkin
A former textbook writer, Steve Sheinkin dedicated his life to making up for his previous crimes by crafting gripping narratives of American history. He likes to think of his job as being a "story detective." Researching Bomb allowed him to be a spy as well, as he combed through hundreds of pages of declassified FBI interviews in search of the men and women who stole the bomb out from under the noses of the U.S. Government.
Steve is the author of several historical works for young readers, include The Notorious Benedict Arnold, winner of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award for Nonfiction and the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction for Young Adults. He lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, with his wife and two children.
