James Yang

James Yang has always been inspired by nature, although he admits that happens mostly near golf courses.  He grew up in Oklahoma, married a woman from Hong Kong, and now lives in Brooklyn.  His award-winning illustrations have appeared in publications from Audubon Magazine to The Wall Street Journal.  He is the author and illustrator of a number of critically acclaimed picture books, including Stop! Bot! which won the 2020 Theodor Seuss Geisel Award.
