Colin Eisler

Coline Eisler the distinguished art historian, is Robert Lehman Professor of Fine Arts at the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University. His many publications include The Genius of Jacopo Bellini, Paintings in the Hermitage, and Durer's Animals. His Cats Know Best (Dial) is illustrated by Lesley Anne Ivory. Mr. Eisler was a Lenten Lecturer at the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church and is on the exhibitions committee of the Jewish Museum. He also teaches at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York.
