As a young boy, Charles Bernard Garbutt became interested in drawing and observing animals. He eventually became a feature illustrator for the Los Angeles Times. Garbutt also worked at Disney Studio during the 1930's, helping to animate such films as Snow White, Bambi, and Ferdinand the Bull....
