Picture Book Biographies of People Who Lived During 1650-1800

< Other Lists

The time period of 1650-1800 is commonly studied in many history rotations for U.S. homeschoolers as it covers both the American Revolution and Colonial America.  We've selected a few picture book biographies that we think make excellent supplements to a historical study of this time period.

Since picture books can be read in one or two sittings, they provide a greater opportunity to introduce a variety of people, some of whom may not show up in historical overview books, including people from locations around the world.
