This is the story of three weeks in the life of seven-year-old Vicky Austin, who is having trouble preparing for her part as The Angel in the Christmas pageant. Vicky seems to be all knees and elbows, and doubts that she will ever be able to do her part right. There is a further complication in the fact that the Austin family expects shortly to have a new baby. The working out of these problems makes a warm and beautifully honest story.
