Book Guide

Mr. Small has a little fire engine that he keeps in the fire house. This fire engine is a pumper that carries its pump, hose and ladder all on the truck. When the fire bell rings Mr. Small knows just what to do and he and his men always put out the fire promptly.

Fireman Small has been welcomed by the thousands of boys and girls who followed his career as a sailor, aviator, motorist, engineer, farmer, cowboy, fireman and policeman. To new readers of the Mr. Small books, The Little Fire Engine will be a perfect introduction to a character beloved by children everywhere.
