One of the Pilgrims who sailed on the Mayflower in 1620 was William Bradford. Soon after the colony was settled at Plymouth, he became their Governor.
From the time they left England, Governor Bradford kept an account of their adventures that the Pilgrims had. He told a lot about these people whose courage and faith saw them through the hardships of their long voyage and the uncertainties of their new home.
Here is what happened as Governor Bradford wrote it. The Pilgrims and what they did become very real in this carefully told and handsomely illustrated story.
