Jeanne-Marie and her pet sheep, Patapon, live on a farm in the south of France.
Now Christmas is coming and Jeanne-Marie tells Patapon all about it. Jeanne-Marie will put her shoe by the fireplace and Father Noel will fill it. "But I have no shoes," says Patapon. "Father Noel will not bring me anything, Jeanne-Marie."
The charming picture story tells what Jeanne-Marie did about this situation. One of the loveliest pages in the book shows the santons, or Christmas manger figures, that came on Christmas morning.
The many children who loved the first book about Jeanne-Marie will welcome this one—others will meet her here and go back with delight to the first book.
