Jacqueline Bouvier grew up finding schoolwork easy. She liked to paint, liked to write, and found it easy to learn languages. After completing her studies, she was newspaper writer in Washington, where she met Senator John F. Kennedy. She married Senator Kennedy, and when he was elected President, Jackie became one of our most popular first ladies. She was with her husband when he was shot dead, and her courage then and afterward won the admiration of the world.
