The horn of the sentry warned them first. "The tribes are coming!" rose the shout. The black horde in the distance moved over the ground. Out of a thousand mouths came a blood-chilling chant.
And so began the battle of the River Kishon where Uriah, the Hittite Warrior, fought against the Hebrews for his life and for survival.
Since the loss of his family, his home, and his country, Uriah-Tarhund's life had been filled with strange events amongst people whose ideas conflicted radically with his own. His loyalty to the past was challenged by these new ideas and people. He had been taught to hate and fear some of these people, but now he was being forced to make a new life for himself in a changing world.
