Miss Adams and Miss McCarrick are two children's librarians in the New York Public Library, and they have compiled this holiday anthology directly from their own experience with the children. They soon found in their work that there was very little material in the majority of holiday anthologies which could be used by both older and younger children, and they have gathered together these poems to meet a decided need.
Miss Mabel Williams, who has written the introduction, is the former Supervisor of Work with Schools, New York Public Library.
This book will prove extremely useful to all children's librarians, teachers, and parents, as well as to the children themselves.
