When their old green car has trouble starting one morning, Matthew worries that Daddy won't be able to pick him up from school at the end of the day. To allay his fears, Daddy comes up with a fanciful list of all the ways he might fetch Matthew:

He'll ride the neighbor's red tractor.
He'll be carried by Matthew's big teddy bear.
He'll ask the birds in the trees to fly him to the school.

No matter what, Daddy will always be there for Matthew.
