Book Guide

Betsy and her friend Billy are in the second grade. Betsy has good times in school and out with all her little friends, particularly with Billy, although some of their good times have a way of getting them in trouble. But Billy tumbles out of trouble almost as easily as he tumbles in. From the first loose tooth to the bread-and-molasses catastrophe, little boys and girls will recognize and laugh over the exciting activities which will fill the lives of Betsy and Billy.

This story of second graders will appeal to children as strongly as "B" Is for Betsy and Two and Two are Four. Like them it is illustrated by the author with drawings which are exactly right for the text.
