Victo Ngai

Los Angeles-based illustrator Victo Ngai grew up in Hong Kong and went on to Rhode Island School of Design, majoring in illustration. In addition to being a Forbes 30 Under 30 (Art and Style) honoree and a Society of Illustrators NY Gold Medalist, her work as received recognition from The New York Times, Communications Arts, and many others. Victo has always been fascinated with history, patterns, mechanics, and oceans, and she can't think of a more perfect subject than dazzle ships for her debut picture book.
