Stephanie Stuve-Bodeen

Stephanie Stuve-Bodeen lived in Tanzania, Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer in the 1980's, and it was there that she met the little girl who inspired Elizabeti's Doll. Stephanie has also written two sequels, Mama Elizabeti and Elizabeti's School, both published by Lee & Low Books. She lives in La Center, Washington, with her husband and their daughters.
