Rafael Lopez

Rafael Lopez won Pura Belpre Illustrator Awards for Drum Dream Girl and Book Fiesta, two Americas Book Awards, the Society of Illustrators Original Art Silver Medal, and the 2017 Tomas Rivera Book Award. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, American Illustration Annual, and Graphic Design USA, and he has created seven US postage stamps. He lives in San Diego, California, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
