Lesléa Newman

Leslea Newman is equal parts cat-lover and prolific writer. Her seventy books for readers of all ages include the Jewish-themed children's titles Gittel's Journey: An Ellis Island Story; Here Is the World: A Year of Jewish Holidays; and Ketzel, the Cat who Composed. Winner of the Association of Jewish Libraries Sydnet Taylor Award and the Cat Writers Association Muse Medallion. Leslea lives in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
