Lena Anderson
1939 -Christina Bjork and Lena Anderson have collaborated on children's books for many years, including Linnea's Almanac, which won the West German National Children's Book Award in 1984 and Linnea in Monet's Garden, which The New Yorker called "an original and charming book" and School Library Journal praised in a starred review: "An original and highly entertaining child-centered book of art appreciation...Linnea sparkles with joy of discovery and charms readers."
Like Linnea, Christina Bjork and Lena Anderson were nature-loving city girls, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. The studio they share today is a charming country house with a garden right in the heart of Stockholm.
