Duncan Tonatiuh

Duncan Tonatiuh was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Miguel de Allende, in the historic state of Guanajuato, Mexico. His books have received many awards and accolades over the years, including the Pura Belpre Award, the Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Medal, and the New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book list. He currently lives in San Miguel with his wife and children but travels in the United States often.
