Claire Rudolf Murphy

Claire Rudolf Murphy has been a history buff since she was in grade school. She loves to write stories about American history told through the eyes of outsiders who persevere against incredible odds. She has written fifteen award-winning books for children and young adults, and currently teaches at Hamline University's MFA in Writing for Children program. She lives with her family in Spokane, Washington.
