Christiane Krömer

Christian Krömer specializes in illustrating stories that feature cultures from around the world. Her recent books include Steps and Stones and Anh's Anger, winner of a Skipping Stones Honor Award. Krömer drew inspiration for the collages in this book from many sources, including Mughal miniature paintings and the folk art designs of Pakistan. A native of the former East Germany, Krömer now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
